Changan College of Xidian University failed in annual inspection

(Reporter Ren Jiao) Yesterday, the Provincial Department of Education informed the 2013 inspections of private colleges and universities and independent colleges. Twenty-six schools were qualified, three schools were basically qualified, and one independent college was not qualified. Schools that passed the annual inspection (26 schools): Xi'an Peihua College, Xi'an Translation College, Xi'an Foreign Affairs College, Xi'an Eurasian College, Xijing College, Xi'an Siyuan College, Shaanxi International Business College, Shaanxi Clothing Engineering College, Xi'an Hi-tech Vocational 16 private colleges, including Xi'an Urban Construction Vocational College, Xi'an Vocational College of Science, Technology and Business, Xi'an Vocational College of Automotive Science and Technology, Xi'an Haitang Vocational College, Shaanxi Vocational College of Tourism and Cooking, Shaanxi Vocational College of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi'an Medical College.

City College of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Modern College of Northwest University, Huaqing College of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Haojiin College of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Innovation Institute of Yan'an University, Northern Information Engineering College of Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an College of Finance and Economics, Northwestern Polytechnical University There are 10 independent colleges including Mingde College, Xi'an University of Science and Technology, and Xi'an University of Technology.

Schools whose annual inspection results are basically qualified (3): Shaanxi Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College, Xi'an Oriental Asia-Pacific Vocational and Technical College, and Xinghua College of Chang'an University. Schools that failed the annual inspection (1): Chang'an College, Xidian University.

It is understood that the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education's "Implementation Measures for the Annual Inspection of Private General Colleges and Independent Colleges" (trial) issued at the end of September 2013 stipulates that for private schools that fail the annual inspection, the rectification period is 3 months. After the rectification period expires, the school shall report the rectification situation in writing in a timely manner, and the review and approval authority shall conduct a review in conjunction with the rectification report. If the review meets the requirements, the inspection conclusion shall be changed to "Basic Qualification for Annual Inspection". If the re-examination is still "unqualified in annual inspection", enrollment shall be stopped.
